Break Right x ErF

Break Right is a Brooklyn-born project formed in 2025 by Jake Tarlov and Joey Haines, coming out of a jaded corner of the indie rock scene with a desire to make something louder, looser, and actually fun again. Self-produced in a bedroom studio, they built a collection of songs rooted in the alt-rock and emo they grew up on. After finishing their record with mastering from Adam Cichocki (Koyo, ipromisedtheworld, Souldblind), they recruited additional members to round out a five-piece lineup. Anchored by Jake’s brutally honest, darkly funny lyricism, the band balances chaos and charm in equal measure. Joined by friends Reserv, Tomás Tomás, Seventh Swan, and Globe, they’ll celebrate the release of their debut record, Money On The Underdog, with a release show on July 31 at ErF Gallery.
